Contributors can increase their reputation by:
- Creating proposals that get accepted by the DAO
- Voting in favor of proposals that get accepted by the DAO, before the proposal is boosted
- Voting against proposals that get rejected by the DAO, before the proposal is boosted
Contributors’ reputation might decrease by:
- The DAO passing a proposal slashing your Reputation (perhaps because you have broken a rule or social contract)
- Voting in favor of proposals that get rejected by the DAO, before the proposal is boosted
- Voting against proposals that get accepted by the DAO, before the proposal is boosted
The exact amount of Reputation lost or gained in these ways varies depending on the proposal and on the DAO parameters. For more details, check out this document that elaborates on the consequences of actions in Alchemy.
