Should I ask for reputation when submitting a proposal?

You are not required to ask for reputation when submitting a proposal. In some DAOs, it is expected that anyone submitting a proposal will ask for Reputation. In others, this may be frowned upon. Learn about the DAO before deciding what you should do! Most DAOs have public chat channels publicly available. You can also look through the DAO's past proposals to get a sense of what is acceptable.

Remember that Reputation is voting power in DAOs! Without it, you will have next to no say about what happens inside a DAO, and DAO members think carefully about how they want it distributed.
